CS 1.6 Server Browser Suddenly Stopped Working

Hi everyone. I have a strange problem with my CS 1.6 installation. The server browser used to work normally, but recently it stopped showing any servers at all. I can still launch the game and play offline, but when I open the server list, it stays completely empty. I've already restarted the game and checked my internet connection, but nothing has changed. I'm thinking that maybe my current version is outdated or has some broken files. Would installing a fresh version of CS 1.6 with a working server browser help fix this problem?

I had a very similar problem with my old installation, and reinstalling the game with a fresh version fixed it for me. My server list was also empty, even though my internet connection was working normally. I ended up downloading a new copy from https://cs-unikov.net/ and after installing it, the server browser started working again. I could see available servers and connect to them without any additional configuration. If your current CS 1.6 installation suddenly stopped finding servers, replacing it with a fresh version is definitely worth trying before spending a lot of time looking for complicated fixes.
