Maureen Robijns noticed the impact that art had on her classmates and herself in the many places she lived. Her talk is about how art is useful in education. It also addresses the fact that some schools don't have art and suggests how we can help them.
Although Maureen is only in fifth grade, she has lived in many different countries. Born in Belgium, Maureen has lived in El Salvador, Peru, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina and Colombia.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
