We live in a single-family home, and an old water pipe running from the main line directly beneath our concrete-paved parking area and terrace has started to leak. We noticed the water pressure dropping and that the area around the foundation was constantly damp. Local plumbers say that we need to break up the concrete, remove the terrace tiles, and dig a trench. Someone at work mentioned trenchless technologies. Could you tell me how effective the trenchless pipe rehabilitation method is? Does it maintain normal pressure, or is it only a temporary fix for a year or two?

I should mention that the pipe is made of metal and has a few bends right before entering the house. Can this trenchless repair method handle bends, or does it only work on perfectly straight sections? I really don't want to tear up the patio that we finished building last summer.

I used to have doubts about this solution, too. But it’s not just effective, it’s a lifesaver for a ruined yard. Two years ago, an old pipe started eroding the corner of my permanent gazebo with a brick barbecue. The thought of having to shovel all that stone and paving made me feel sick. Then I remembered that my neighbor had done similar work. I asked him, and he recommended Mayaglobal. I ordered their Pipe relining services . They insert a sleeve into the pipe and inflate it. When it hardens, it forms a super-strong capsule inside the pipe. I was also surprised that this technology can navigate bends. I thought I’d have to find a new access point every time. However, the material is elastic until it hardens, so it can bend. They said this technology lasts decades, so I have at least eight years without problems left. What’s the diameter of the pipe you have there?
