My question is, I am at level 57 in range and hoping to be at least 70, which do you recommend in terms of equipment you would utilize and the best training methods to work on RS Gold? I've nearly 1m of money in my bank (the dramatic fall of the Abyssal Whip hasn't been a good thing for me!) and if I decided to sell my current range of gear, I'd likely have around 1.2m.

I'm currently training on Pyrefiends. I'm also using the following gear that I have: Archer's helm/Helm Neitiznot blue d'hide body, blue d'hide chaps, blue d'hide vambraces, Ava's Accumulator, dragon boots amulets of glory, magic shortbow and mithril arrows. It's probably worth noting that I've stated above that my ranged level currently is 57 (not too far off the 58th level) and my defence range is currently 64. Any suggestions for what gear to put on, what weapons to use and what to practice on would be highly appreciated!

So i decided to go back to Runescape this morning, only to realize everything has drastically changed, Mages have the same amount of armor and HP. In addition, they have Meleers as well as skills, actions bar, and lots of other things, which left me with a few issues that I need answers to:

What are the top boots for Melee? ( After doing a lot of studies, I've discovered that highest stats are on Mage's batwing boots, are there any better boots?, and is there any penalty for wearing them as a melee?)

Why should I wear Rune gloves even though Blue Dragon vambs and Batwing gloves have the same specs but are alot cheaper? Why should i even wear rune armor at all!? ( Aside from Vs. Ranged) Is it me or the new changes made Melee the hero in the new pvp? Does someone who plays Melee play pk very well? ( and what is the best set for him to accomplish that?) Is it possible to make the Amulet of Str now useless RS3 Gold? ( I'm not sure about the whole thing about crits) Thanks for taking the time to look over my concerns.
