You are seeking to make a unique set identity, but whatever you can come up with may be instantly appropriated. And that I get how that would be bothersome. Honestly, the only real solution I have here, is to create a tradition which needs so much energy to upkeep that it's not likely to get appropriated. Nobody is going around appropriating Muslim prayer practices, because your average person is not going to learn a new language and then dedicate five minutes five times every day for the remainder of eternity. But... like. . I rather get it. Except the Men and Women who want this are not prepared to put a Massive investment into it, and just want a quick-and-easy cultural identifier nobody can utilize

They left their point talking how punk was always dead and rooting out posers was never a successful use of anyone's time.
