Unit 10: AP Art History Faculty Lecture with Professor Joe Lucchesi

In this special AP Daily video for Unit 10 of AP Art History, you'll hear Professor Joe Lucchesi from St. Mary's College of Maryland talk about LGBTQ+ Presence & Identities in Contemporary Art.

You'll learn about the emergence of LGBTQ+ presence, images, and artists in contemporary art from the 1970s to today. We will consider how they sometimes take on the history of art itself, to visualize new possibilities for LGBTQ embodiment, identities, and community.
