How to Develop Next Generation Autonomous Vehicle Technology

During the session, Dr Marco Cecotti and Dr Efstathios Velenis from Cranfield University will cover some of the exciting advancements being made in the development of autonomous vehicle technology, as we look to develop systems that can work reliably at the limits of vehicle handling, that are more intuitive and familiar to human drivers, and that are able to cooperate with each other to improve safety and traffic flow. The session will also touch on the different ways that Cranfield University is addressing the skill shortage faced by the automotive industry in the development of these technologies.
