I’m currently looking to hire a lawyer in Ontario and wanted to get some advice. With so many options available, it’s a bit overwhelming to choose the right one. I’m particularly interested in finding someone experienced in insert your area, e.g., family law, real estate, or criminal defense.
How do you usually verify a lawyer’s credentials and reputation? Are there any trusted resources or directories for Ontario lawyers? Any tips on questions to ask during the initial consultation would also be really helpful.
