Some future objectives of the WNFLB are to incorporate more teams into the league and the promotion of more female players. It also seeks to reach out to teams from other leagues across the different regions to increase the enrollment of women in the league. Further, youth programs are also expected to be developed as a way of nurturing the young talent of female football players. With most of them incorporating grassroots fishing, the league aims at training young talent that will, in the long run, develop a passion for the sport. In conclusion, the WNFLB aims at promoting the growth of women's football as a sport and ensuring many more years to come.
