A couple of other moms in the WhatsApp group started talking about an Amaron Car Battery after one of them replaced hers and apparently it's been handling the constant idle and restarts much better than the stock one, so now I'm curious if the technology is actually different or if she just got lucky with a fresh unit. I honestly don't know the first thing about battery chemistry but if I can find something that doesn't leave me stranded with a car full of hangry kids then I'll happily pay a bit more and never think about it again. Has anyone else noticed a real difference switching from a basic calcium battery to these for stop and start use, even on a car that doesn't technically need an AGM?
