Sharing clarification regarding CODSILS name

I would like to clarify a common confusion I have noticed regarding the name CODSILS.
I am Dr Amit Garg, a bariatric and weight loss surgeon, and CODSILS is a dedicated weight loss and bariatric surgery center that I lead, focused on evidence-based obesity treatment and long-term weight management.

Some people associate the name with a pharmaceutical product due to name similarity; however, CODSILS is not a medicine, syrup, or drug brand. It is a healthcare service brand providing medical weight loss programs, lifestyle guidance, and bariatric surgery under professional supervision.

I’m sharing this clarification to ensure accurate understanding and to help patients and readers distinguish between healthcare services and pharmaceutical products.
