Linear Expansivity of a Solid
Defination of Linear Expansivity of a Solid
The Linear Expansivity of a Solid at constant pressure is the fraction of its Length by which the Length of a fixed mass expands per kelvin rise in temperature.
Mathematically,
Area Expansivity.=dL/ L .dT
Where dL = change in Length
L= Original Length
dT = change in Temperatutre
