Kirchhoff’s law , Kirchhoff’s current law

Definitions

Node

A node or a junction in an Electrical circuit is a point where three or more connecting wires meet

Loop

A loop is any closed path in a circuit

Open circuit

Is an Electric circuit with one of the element is removed and the position remain open

Short circuit

Is an electric cicuit in which one of the element is by-pass with a wire. if R is by-passed with wire in the fig 1 above it is short-circuit.

Kirchhoff’s Current Law

Kirchhoff’s current law states that the resultant  sum of the currents flowing into a node or junction is Zero. The total current flowing into a junction or node is equal to the total current flowing out of the same junction or node

See figure 2 above

Mathematical ,

Kirchhoff’s current law states that
