If you're sorting out your first Campaign evening, keep access checks separate from searches for Bot Lobby MW4. They aren't the same thing. Before clearing your calendar, check what your purchase includes, which account owns it, and whether the advertised access window actually applies to you.
Check the purchase before planning the evening
The preparation schedule provided puts Campaign Early Access on October 16, 2026, with full release on October 23. Treat those as dates to verify, not permission to assume a midnight unlock. The eligibility described covers digital Standard and Vault purchases, so don't spend extra just because you think the pricier edition gets you in first. Start with your receipt and library. Wrong account Upgrade instead of the full game Those are worth catching now. Keep payment details private, too. Nobody needs your password to help you understand what you bought or where it lives.
Open the account used for your purchase, then compare the product name and edition against your receipt before making any further session plans.
Check that you own the full game, rather than an edition upgrade or separate extra, and keep the transaction confirmation somewhere private and accessible.
Recheck the access date and any published unlock time before arranging your evening, especially if friends live in a different timezone from yours.
Make the first session comfortable, not impressive
I'd make the first session about getting comfortable, not racing through a mission. Storage comes first, but there's no useful number to invent here. Check the actual requirement when it's available, protect your saves, and know which optional files you could remove. Once you're in, look through the settings that exist rather than expecting every familiar option. Subtitles, brightness, audio balance, controls, sensitivity, and motion settings are sensible places to look, if offered. Change one thing, play a little, then decide whether it helped. Five adjustments together leave you guessing which one made aiming feel worse.
For a story focused evening, make dialogue easy to follow and give yourself room to read objectives instead of rushing past every new prompt.
For a controls focused session, try small sensitivity changes and test the same input again before deciding whether another adjustment is worth your time.
For a demanding first run, choose a tougher option only if available, and leave yourself permission to lower it when learning stops being enjoyable.
Reality check: A download sitting in your library doesn't mean the Campaign is playable, and a date alone won't tell you the unlock hour.
Learn from the screen, not an imagined route
When you get stuck, start with what's actually on screen. Read the objective again. Look for a prompt you missed. Then change one decision instead of repeating the same attempt with more speed. That's useful shooter practice, not a mission solution. Preview footage needs the same restraint: a location doesn't reveal your route, and a cinematic moment doesn't prove you'll control that action. Keep shown content separate from assumptions. Decide your spoiler limit before browsing for help, too. Asking about the obstacle in front of you usually exposes less story than opening a complete walkthrough.
Write down the current objective and the action that failed, so any help you request stays focused on the problem you're actually facing now.
Agree with friends that later story events stay out of voice chat until everyone has reached them, even when somebody finishes a section much earlier.
Leave mission order, completion estimates, difficulty options, and rewards unsettled until you can verify them; confident wording isn't a substitute for something you can check.
Keep your evening yours
Get your account checked, leave room for setup, and choose how much outside help you want. If you encounter Modern Warfare 4 Bot Lobbies for sale, don't treat that offer as proof of Campaign eligibility. Your first evening should follow verified access details and your own pace, not somebody else's promises.
