Grand Seiko - Evolution 9 Spring Drive SLGA021

Grand Seiko has added a new timepiece to its Evolution 9 collection: the Spring Drive SLGA021.

This three-hand watch features a blue dial inspired by the gentle waves of Lake Suwa. Located southeast of Grand Seiko's Shinshu watchmaking studio, Lake Suwa is where the Spring Drive models were developed.

The box-shaped sapphire crystal perfectly complements the 40mm x 11.8mm faceted stainless steel case, whose dynamic lines are further accentuated by the subtle fusion of Grand Seiko's signature Zaratsu polishing and brushing techniques. A screw-down crown ensures water resistance up to 10 bar (100 meters/330 feet).

This SLGA021 watch is powered by the Spring Drive 9RA2 movement, offering a power reserve of up to 120 hours (5 days) when fully wound, with a daily accuracy of ±0.5 seconds and a monthly accuracy of ±10 seconds. To achieve a cleaner dial, the power reserve indicator has been moved to the case back.

The new Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Spring Drive SLGA021 watch features a stainless steel bracelet and a triple-folding clasp.
