Aion 2: Everything You Need to Know About the Argo Breastplate

In Aion 2, armor plays a crucial role in enhancing your character’s survivability, both in PvE and PvP. One of the notable armor pieces is the Argo Breastplate, a unique torso item that can significantly boost your defense stats. In this article, we’ll break down everything you need to know about the Argo Breastplate, including its stats, how to obtain it, and how it fits into your overall gameplay.

What is the Argo Breastplate?

The Argo Breastplate is a Torso-type armor with a high defense rating, making it a valuable piece for players looking to increase their survivability. It’s classified as a Unique armor, which means it's one of the rarer and more sought-after items in Aion 2.

The item is level 74, which suggests it’s aimed at players who have reached a certain level of progression in the game. It provides notable boosts to both Defense and HP, making it useful for surviving against tougher enemies and bosses.

What are the Argo Breastplate’s Stats?

When equipped, the Argo Breastplate provides the following stats:

• Item Level: 74

• Defense: 368

• HP: 210

• Manastone Slots: 4

The 368 Defense helps mitigate incoming damage, making it particularly useful for both PvE (Player vs Environment) and PvP (Player vs Player) situations. The 210 HP boost is also significant, as it adds to your total health pool, allowing you to take more damage before being knocked out.

However, keep in mind that PvE Damage Tolerance and PvP Damage Tolerance values are currently not listed for this armor. This means we don't have detailed information on how it performs in either PvE or PvP damage reduction at this time. That said, the high Defense and HP boosts still make it a solid choice for general tanking roles or improving overall durability.

How to Obtain the Argo Breastplate?

Argo Breastplate can be obtained from boss drops in Aion 2. Most players will acquire this armor by defeating certain bosses in the game. However, specific details on which bosses drop the Argo Breastplate are not fully available at this time. As is common with other items dropped by bosses, the drop rate can vary depending on the difficulty of the boss and the specific instance.

In general, the higher the difficulty of the boss, the better the chances of getting a Unique item like the Argo Breastplate. Some players prefer farming bosses repeatedly or participating in group activities to maximize their chances of obtaining rare armor.

Can I Craft the Argo Breastplate?

Currently, there are no crafting details available for the Argo Breastplate. This means you cannot craft this item through crafting professions or other in-game crafting systems. As of now, obtaining it seems to be restricted to boss drops, and there’s no known way to make it through crafting.

It’s worth checking back regularly, though, as Aion 2 updates and new crafting recipes may eventually allow for the creation of the Argo Breastplate. But for now, boss drops are your only reliable source.

How Much is the Argo Breastplate Worth?

If you decide to sell the Argo Breastplate, you can fetch a good price for it. The item can be sold for up to 77,170 gold, making it one of the higher-value armor pieces in the game. This can be particularly useful if you’re looking to make some in-game currency.

Most players, however, will want to keep it for themselves, as the defensive boosts are highly beneficial for end-game content. But if you’re not in need of it or prefer to trade it for gold, the Argo Breastplate can definitely net you a decent profit.

Is the Argo Breastplate Worth Using?

Whether the Argo Breastplate is worth equipping largely depends on your role in the game. For players who focus on tank roles or those who need to increase their survivability in high-level PvE content, the Argo Breastplate is an excellent choice. Its high defense and HP make it ideal for taking hits from powerful bosses and enemies.

On the other hand, if you're primarily focused on damage-dealing roles like DPS (damage per second), you may find that this item doesn’t offer the right balance of stats. You might prefer armor that boosts damage output rather than defense and HP. However, in certain PvP scenarios where durability is important, the Argo Breastplate can also be a solid option.

Is the Argo Breastplate Right for You?

In summary, the Argo Breastplate is a strong Unique Torso armor that provides great Defense and HP benefits. It’s ideal for players looking to increase their survivability in tough PvE and PvP scenarios. The armor can be obtained from boss drops, though specific drop details are still limited.

Since it cannot currently be crafted and is valuable in terms of both its defensive stats and gold value, it’s an item that many players will likely want to keep or sell depending on their needs.

If you’re a player focused on increasing your tanking abilities, surviving tough battles, or maximizing your gold intake, the Argo Breastplate is definitely worth considering.
